My specialization encompasses some of the major fields in Data Science and broadly touches upon several others, acquired through a Masters degree in the field from a Top 30 ranked university in the world, multiple years of professional work experience and constant learning and personal projects.
Statistical Analysis
I have experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data from medical and biological databases, datasets for computer vision, etc., in direct or composite forms for applications such as inference, prediction, description and exploration.
Deep Neural Networks
I am trained in fundamental and advanced concepts covering various ANNs. I have worked on analyzing, designing and fine tuning CNNs for applications such as segmentation and classification, primarily using Pytorch and Tensorflow packages.
Machine Learning
I have used various ML techniques in conjunction with computational, NN or quantitative statistical techniques in my previous applications and I am versed with cutting edge methods including ensembles, SVMs and decision trees, among others.
Software Engineering
I have learnt about and worked through the entire spectrum of software development lifecycle through coursework and several projects which include development, testing, quality assurance while adhering to guidelines that ensure robustness, scalability, collaboration and efficiency in the context of project management.
Computer Vision
Through my Master’s degree and work beyond, I have had the chance to work with medical images in various formats – namely CT, MRI and PET, and also large datasets of 4D biological data and design algorithms, integrating multidisciplinary computational and analytical techniques to process and extract relevant information.
Cloud Deployment and Containers
As part of CI/CD, I have worked on deploying code in various cloud-based environments for automated release. I have worked with VMs and containers such as Docker for running applications and have fundamental knowledge on cloud-based services and platforms for development and testing.

I am well-versed in several aspects of RDBMS, comprising conceptual design, queries and scripts for automating routine entry and fetching of information to and from common data environment and data warehouse and providing data interfacing for front-end development.

I have been responsible for routine support and maintenance work aside from regular duties as part of full-time work, comprising troubleshooting and assistance, system package setup and updation and data access and backup.
